Data Abstract

This dataset consists of data collected from the survey on 300 small and media sized enterprises in Jiangsu Province. These enterprises, selected from Nanjing, Suzhou, WuXi, Changzhou and Nantong, involved activities in machinery, electric & electronic manufacturing, textiles, food production and chemical industries, etc. The survey covers 7 main aspects of the sampled enterprises: 1) basic information such as output, profit; 2) personnel and wages; 3) strategy, planning and decision process; 4) relationship with other enterprises; 5) technology advantage; 6) appointment of the management and work union; 7) R& D.
